Clearline Plumbing & Heating provides plumbing, heating, gas, drainage, and commercial services throughout British Columbia. As the company continued to grow, it needed a website capable of supporting a broad range of services while helping customers quickly understand what the company does and how to get in touch. The objective wasn't to create an overly flashy marketing website. It was to build a practical tool that would support lead generation, improve service discovery, and reinforce the professionalism that Clearline is known for.
Punch Digital was brought in to develop the company's brand identity and digital presence from the ground up. The project included logo design, copywriting, website design, development, and lead generation strategy. Every aspect of the website was planned around a simple principle: make it easy for potential customers to find the information they need, build confidence in the company, and take the next step when they're ready.
The Challenge
The biggest challenge wasn't attracting attention. It was organizing information. Clearline offers a wide range of services across multiple trades disciplines, from residential plumbing and drainage solutions to heating systems, gas fitting, HVAC services, and commercial work. Presenting all of that information without overwhelming visitors required a careful balance between depth and simplicity. Customers needed enough information to feel informed without being buried under endless service pages, technical explanations, or cluttered navigation.
At the same time, the company wanted to avoid many of the industry clichés that have become common throughout the trades sector. Emergency scare tactics, exaggerated claims, generic stock photography, and aggressive sales messaging often create more skepticism than trust. Clearline's reputation has been built on straightforward communication, practical recommendations, and dependable service, so the website needed to reflect those same values while still encouraging users to request a quote or make contact.
